Prior to 1390 Gerrard Street East being home to GAS, it was home to J.S. Addison Plumbing, a Toronto institution. So much of an institution, it was mentioned twice in John Irving's novel, 'A Son Of The Circus'.
Gerrard Art Space is a membership based art gallery located in the heart of the South Asian Bazaar.
