On April 27 GAS hosted a public reading for the work-in-progress Novembears kids show by Adrianna Prosser:
Novembears is an interactive children’s puppet show that follows the story of little Annabelle who turns into a growly, irritable, cranky bear every time November comes around. In fact, she turns into a Novembear.
Novembears will look at Seasonal Affective Disorder in children, and how having big feelings can make us feel like a novembear. This show gives young audiences the vocabulary to recognize in themselves what depression may feel like and encourages self regulation and talking about their feelings.
